100% Original Ww2 German Camo Helmet, Untouched, Rare

This is an original WW2 GI picked up war souvenir. This is exactly how is was taken home from WW2. The helmet, liner system and chin strap are original to helmet. The decal was removed during the war by soldier per decree.

It looks like it was a "chicken wire" camo helmet, with chicken wire applied, then painted over. The soldier then carefully removed decal, per decree, at same time removing chicken wire. The camo paint is heavily textured, with a great pattern. Leather liner never removed and intact, still some-what pliable. Original chinstrap is completely intact.

A little dry but not "brittle". This is a, "EF 62" marked helmet with serial number (see pics). Nice, heavy robust helmet, no dents at all.

Would make a great addition to a great collection. This is not a Russian import or "restored" or reconditioned helmet.

100% original WW2 German combat helmet in original state. The pics really do not do it justice. If you want more pics please let me know. Paint is as hard as a rock, no paint smell, just great. This is the real thing.
