AUTHENTIC WW2 GERMAN LUFTWAFFE DROP TAIL EAGLE HELMET OWNED BY OBERST MATTNER

As stated by Joseph W. Di Giovanna, and witnessed by Lindsey Eccles Notary Public, this Helmet was liberated on April 26th 1945 by his Uncle Sergeant Vince Di Giovanna. The name on the liner says the owner was Oberst (Colonel) Mattner. Then it was marked with a pen stating the date Vince got it. Vince later gave it to his brother Jasper Di Giovanna who then gave it to his son Joseph sometime in 1961. It sure looks like an Officers helmet because it's in such great shape.

With some help and research I found two stamps on the skirt, Q64 by the left ear and T or M 1073 in the rear. The stamp for the first letter in the rear is really light so it's hard to tell.
