German M40 Helmet camouflage winter snow camo Luftwaffe LW elite Holland WW2

For sale: German M40 Luftwaffe helmet. The helmet is in pretty good shape. It has some surface rust and damage along the edge of the helmet. There are some places where the paint is chipped away and also on top the paint is gone. The helmet shows markings of heaving a breadbag strap attached to it in the past.

Remains of white snow camouflage can be seen clearly all along the helmet and the edges of it. In the places where the dark camouflage is gone, you can see the white and the luftwaffe blue paint. The white shows cracks and brittle places. The liner is in superb condition and marked with a 57 size mark.

The dome of the helmet has 2 tape bands with underneath a thick dome stamp! It has a Q64 stamp and a lot number. The liner is clearly original to the shell and alot of dust build up along the liner band.

The chinstrap is in nice condition and shorted. The buckle shows signs of wear. All in all a great looking helmet in a fair condition. Please study pictures at your own judgement. If you need more pictures let me know and i will make them for you.
