Original WW2 German helmet M42 HKP64

For sale an German M42 helmet with two layers of white paint on top of the green factory paint. It is difficult to judge white painted helmets, unfortunately it has probably been added post war on this helmet. Another collector suggested that it might have been painted period the first layer and post war the second layer. The helmet is named by the soldier Bargmann in the skirt. Marker & size: HKP64, Lot nr: 3737.

The liner band is dated 1944. The l iner and interior is all original. Please ask if you have any questions or would like some extra pictures.
