ORIGINAL WWII GERMAN M42 HELMET WITH BULLET HOLE WW2 model m 35 40 42 m35 m40

This is a nice original WWII German M42 helmet with a bullet hole through it that was a war trophy brought home by a local vet. It was found in a barn by a collector several years ago and he painted it a dark green color to to stop any further rusting. It is solid, and displays very well. The only hole is from the bullet strike which is original battlefield damage. It shows nice follow through shredding to the edges of the hole. This a real, authentic, been-there piece of history. There is a piece of wire threaded through the rivet holes so that it can be hung on the wall for display.
