Original WWII WW2 German Helmet M40 Camo

Original WWII WW2 German Helmet M40 Camo. I believe this to be a Size 62 shell (Markings hard to read) Heer single decal helmet that was painted over in rough texture greens and brown.. Liner is dry but completely intact with no missing fingers and shows no evidence of ever being out of the helmet. I have no idea when that happened it either had been set down on something that the paint was not completely dry war time or perhaps a vet's closet? As requested I will post some outside photos of the helmet as soon as it stops snowing..
