Relic WW2 German Para helmet from Crete

Outstanding German para helmet relic from Crete. This is one cool piece of history. This helmet was recovered from Crete in the late 1980's. Despite the rough look and large combat damage to rear this is a very solid helmet. Crete was Germany's last large scale airborne operation due to the extremely large amount of casualties.

I have only seen one other para helmet relic from Crete and that was in 1989. Perhaps that one & this one were recovered together. PLEASE DO NOT PAY UNTIL INVOICED.
