WW2 early German M40 luftwaffe helmet made by Q66 w. Half basket chicken wire

I made several pictures from the item both sides. The stamped, sheet steel construction helmet retains 97% of its original rough textured grey-green paint. All three stamped liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet has a M31 leather liner.

The interior of the helmet has a M31 leather liner with all eight of itÂs fingers intact and size adjustment tie-string. The reverse interior neck guard apron is serial number stamped, 738? " and the interior left side apron has stamped manufacturers code and size, "Q66, (BUt its really-really hard to get it out) indicating manufacture by F. Original, early small rb numbered M35 pattern, chinstrap is still present. The helmet comes with Small Hex "Half-Basket" wire config.
