WW2 GERMAN AFRIKA KORPS HELMET

This is a WW2 soldier bringback original 2nd model Afrika Korps pith helmet. Helmet is in excellent condition. All felt is clean and there are no holes, bug bites, or stains. Original inner leather head band is still supple and has maker name imprint.

Original chin strap is all there and solid. Top air vent is loose and does turn. The only thing I can see to mention is the red felt liner has some splits.

Original badge is bright with no paint peeling. I have included a photo of one of the papers this soldier filed at the end of his tour to bring back other German items. I bought this from his estate along with some other WW2 items. The paper IS NOT INCLUDED with the helmet. Simply shown to prove authenticity. I GUARANTEE YOU WILL LIKE THIS HELMET.
