WW2 GERMAN HELMET DD COMBAT POLIZEI. Hello and welcome to my listing. A named, double decal Combat Police helmet which has been privately owned since the early 60s after being brought back from the European theatre of war. The helmet retains all of its original components including, liner, pins, paint and chin strap. The liner is incredibly supple but requires repair to the stitched area (pictured).

This helmet was owned by J (Jarman) Burger who was attached to the -Police Battalion 45 - This was a formation of the German order police. You can trace their history online. They saw service with the army group centre rear area of the Soviet Union as part of the police regiment south. If you require further photos please ask and let us know which areas you require.
