German Stahlhelm M40 - Saxon Emaillerwerke. This helmet was produced for the Hermann Goring Div of the Luftwaffe. Originally was painted RTBG - Rough Texture Blue Gray but appears to have been painted over a number of times.

Because of 5 digit production code was likely produced in late 1943 or 1944. There is no trace of a decal because of layers of paint. Liner appears original and "salty". Pictures give an accurate depiction of the helmet.
