Ww2 German M35 Normandy Camo Helmet In Wood Shipping Crate

This is a WW2 German M35 reissue helmet in a handmade send-home wood crate. Helmet is marked ET62 with lot # 4630, packed in straw, and is complete with reissue liner and chinstrap. Exterior of the helmet is painted apple green, over-painted field gray, then camoed in tan with brown and green accents. The interior is apple green.

A dome stamp is visible in the crown of the helmet under the liner. Inside and outside shown light wear.

Although this is an original WW2 German M35 helmet, the interior and exterior painting and aging are newly done. Helmet is fitted with original WW2 German liner and aged reproduction chinstrap. Dome stamp is an accurate reproduction. The crate and labels are newly made and expertly aged to look authentic. Techniques used make the helmet and box combination appear dead-on real.
