Ww2 German M40 Helmet Captured By Norwegian Resistance

German M40 steel helmet, maker / size "hkp 62" impression stamped into the left interior neckguard, NO damage at all. The shell was factory issued as a Dark Blue Air Force inside & out.

There is NO indication of any decals. When captured by Norwegian Resistance fighters the exterior was resprayed aField Gray color, with Norwegian flag stripes criss-crossing the shell, the Resistance unit's "HS" logo is stencilled on both sides of the front. The M31 liner has a zinc band with size 55 leather, it shows very little use and NO damage, there is the soldier's name and rank written in ink on the leather.
