WW2 German M40 Normandy Camo Helmet + Liner & Chinstrap Battle Damaged KIA NAMED

PLEASE NOTE: This does not bare and has NEVER had any offensive symbols, so therefore. It has no links to any high ranking Nazis, Doesn't. A high ranking Nazi, doesn't promote hate or. It's simply a steel helmet used by a German soldier. I would also like to confirm that not all Germans were Nazis.

There are very clear photographs showing that this has never had any offensive decals. Not to be confused with either the fake helmets that have been made to look like a Normandy camo or the helmets that people have recently painted to deceive buyers, this is 110% genuine! I also acquired this directly from a veterans family.

This is in a semi relic state and this has obviously taken two blows to the top and whatever has penetrated the helmet has damaged the liner in that area. Looking at the colour of the liner and the damage to the top, Im pretty certain the individual who had worn this was KIA. It has a name on the rear skirt, which is hard to read. A solid super piece of history and would be a super addition to any collection. Condition report: field used and pitting to the metal in areas, mainly around the holes on the top, inside crown area and skirts.

The chinstrap is possibly a replacement, as it doesn't seems to be consistent with the liner. Although, I could be wrong. Feedback says it all really. My descriptions are accurate as possible but please feel free to ask on anything not mentioned or for more pictures.
