Ww2 German M42 Army Sd Helmet Splattered Mud Camo

German WWII M42 steel combat helmet, I don't see the maker's code / size impression stamp, but it measures out to be a size 64 shell, the lot number "12511" is stamped into the rear neckguard interior. The shell was painted Gray-Green inside and out from the factory, then it was camoflaged with a rag dipped into Mud Brown paint, 100% guaranteed correct. The decal is 95% there. The liner is the standard M31 type, it is VERY well used and dirty, there are 6 torn "tongues".

The chinstrap is full length and maker stamped, but has had 2 breaks in it that have been glue repaired. The soldier's name and feldpost number are painted in White on the neckguard interior.
