WW2 German M42 Helmet Original

Original WW2 German M42 Helmet. The helmet has nearly all its original paint to outside of helmet and comes with its original liner. Helmet has not been messed with.

The leather in the helmet liner is very thin and dry but still complete also looks like a big blood stain. The Helmet looks like it was stored upside down as it has some rust on the inside but none on the outside. This a 1944 produced helmet, you can tell this from the lot number which is 5311. Shell is marked Ckl 6?

But is around a size 64 and liner size is approx 57, the markings are faint. This helmet was produced with no decals as this was the order at the time of production and also it could then be used by all German armed forces.
