WW2 German NSKK motocycle Crash Helmet. 1st pattern. Orig

THIS ITEM DOESN'T HAVE AND NEVER HAD ANY OFFENSIVE SYMBOLS. WW2 German NSKK crash helmet, constructed from molded, smooth, blackened leather with raised, padded rubber, protective bars running horizontally around the helmet bottom edge and another protective bar running from front to back over the crown top.

The helmet has triple ventilation grommets on both sides. Unfortunately insignia is missing, but you can see where it was attached. Helmet has a short black visor, extended blackened, grained leather protective side and rear panels. Side panels have a vertical half-moon shaped ear cut-out with closure flap.

Side panels have extended straps which act as a chinstrap. Side panel also has a NSKK stamp (not clear). Interior features tan leather liner with all 9 tongs and original draw string. Leather is supple and soft.

It is size stamped 58. Overall very nice rare helmet.
