WW2 German Original M40 Medic Helmet Semi Relic Rare find

Semi relic condition with much original paintwork still present. You will see from the pictures is looks very much it has seen use as a medics helmet. A lot of the red cross can be seen especially when viewed from above. Close up shows the wear to the paint and useage chips and scrapes. Liner band is original to helmet as evidenced by exterior paint and dust build up inside it.

The leather is WW2 issue but I believe it to have been added after it was recovered. Being ground dug the original leather would have rotted but the one added looks the part. Makers mark hard to make out but maybe a strong magnifier will see it. Let me know if want any specific pictures.
