WW2 German W-SS M42 steel helmet

WW2 German W-SS M42 steel helmet. Stamped hkp66 and lot number 3920. Can't tell if inner liner and chin strap are true to the helmet. I believe it once was overpainted with red paint but is now restored to original condition. See pictures, they are a part of the object description.
