WW2 WWII German Waffen SS M40 Helmet Q64 Original

My grandfather brought this back with him after serving in WWII. It has a maker stamp on the right side on the helmet skirt of Q64. This means it is a size 64 and manufactured by the Quist, Esslingen factory. The lot number on the rear of the helmet skirt is T1236. It has the SS decal on one side and no decal on the other.
