Ww 2 German Helmet Original M42 Ckl66 5065 No Decal Full Visor Anomaly

WW 2 GERMAN HELMET ORIGINAL M42 CKL66 5065 NO DECAL FULL VISOR ANOMALY LATE WAR This late war no-decal M42 has a full visor, the steel of the visor cutting the 90 degree corner. I have seen this feature on EF M42 helmets and may be due to the steel shell not being stamped enough times during the rapid-stamping process. Liner band is 1943 DRP marked, 59cm liner. Split rivets with matching paint and single bends intact, however no slotted washers are present, possibly due to late war manufacturing issues.

Leather is in very good condition with the typical scuffing and light staining. A light dome stamp is just visible. Dust visible between band and shell. Liner string has a spot of fraying.

Chinstrap has been added; 0/0121/0014 The fine textured dark green finish is in good issued condition.
