Genuine WW2 German M40 Wehrmacht SD Helmet Semi Relic Battle Damaged With Liner

You are looking at my original WW2 German soldiers Wehrmacht Helmet. The helmet is in original as found condition and was discovered in the basement of a house in Lithuania. This I was told by its previous owner, so just passing that on, as I don't know for sure, just taking his word, but if true it needs to be passed on. The helmet is best described as a semi-relic, and has some damage to it.

On the left side can be seen a bullet/shrapnel hole, and the projectile had pierced the helmet, and gone straight through, hitting the leather of the liner, and punching the right hand side, splitting the shell. It was probably a fatal hit, if the helmet was being worn at the time. The helmet is complete with its original liner, and a small piece of chin strap still remains.

The left hand side also has remains of the original decal, which I have covered for legal reasons. Some collectors, don't like to see helmets in this condition, but to me its part of history, and I would much rather have something like this than a worthless copy.
