German World War 2 M35 painted former tropical helmet

Up for sale is a German ww2 m35 helmet. Liner band is dated 1940, chinstrap is dated 1938.

Liner is in good shape with all fingers intact and has possibly an original drawstring. All three split pin washers are present. Maker and sizing is NS64 (Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke). At one time the helmet was painted in a tropical color as evident by the interior rim, and then painted over again, with previous paint showing through on the exterior.
