The German AIr Protection League was formed in 1932 as a voluntary civil defense organization and later evolved into the Reich Luftshutz Bund which also was primarily a voluntary civil defense organization with some full-time staffing. There were several different styles of helmets with the M38 Gladiator style being the most common and the beaded M35 like this one being the rarer. This the standard beaded M35 in dark blue finish with maybe 60% remaining on the exterior and a nice patina.
Some slight dings but nothing too noticeable. Inside is marked on the center rear with what looks like a serial of 141 and Q64 on the right inner flange.
Six finger tan leather liner is try and one finger torn. Overall a decent example of the Rather uncommon M35 Luftshutz helmet.
