German Ww2 Lw M35 Helmet With Leather Carrying Strap

German WW2 Luftwaffe M35 helmet with a leather carrying strap. Helmet is in VG shape, slight remnant of the national colors shield and rubbed down and worn other. Shell has no dings or dents and has the expected wear. Q 66 size and crisp serial on rear flange. Decent and original leather liner is worn but pretty much still there though one finger is missing.

Original chinstrap, belt side is complete but pretty fragile, buckle side has broken lose but is still there. Leather carrying strap is stiff and well used.

Never seen one of these so I can't add much beyond what the pictures show. Don't know if this was a field issue creaton or an actual issue item but the loop for the clasp part is marked with what looks like "gny over "1940. Interesting rig to be sure.
