German WW2 M42 Helmet shell With Liner Band & Rivets (Original)

This is a 100% Original German WW2 M42 Helmet shell. Helmet shell has maker stamp and size rare Q maker and size 64. Helmet shell is void of any damage, no rust, dents or cracks. Liner retaining rivet are intact and liner band is complete with spring band.

Factory ordinance tan paint is 98% with only minor storage wear. Some collectors believe these were war time AK factory tropical painted but the Africa campaign had ended before they could be issued. Others believe they were post war painted for use by Czechoslovakia.
