Original Item: Found after years of storage in our own warehouse! Imported in the early 1990 these are genuine 100% original German Nazi WW2 Helmets that had been left in Norway after the end of WW2. It is well known that Norway adopted surplus German WW2 Helmets for use with their border guard after the war. These, released in the early 1990s, are Original helmets that were?

The process of demilitarization was to punch a small hole in the crown with a pickaxe. Once the Norwegian government realized that they actually needed the helmets for their own Border Guard, each helmet was carefully repaired and repainted, often right over the original German decals, and put into storage in order to be reissued. Somehow or other, some of these became overlooked and have just be uncovered during our first inventory overhaul in nearly 15 years. Now there are just a handful of these original helmets, all complete with Norwegian issue liners and chin straps.

Original WWII Item: Refurbished British WW2 dated and marked, Brodie (Soup plate) helmet, very similar in style to the US WW1 "Dough Boy" Helmet. Helmets show WW2 Dates between 1940-45 stamped into the steel shell.

Each helmet has been stripped and repainted in OD GREEN. Each is complete with original unissued early model canvas chin strap with integral spring system, at point of mounting, which attaches to each side of the helmet bowl.

The liners are brand new reproductions of specially treated canvas, exactly like the WW2 pattern, and are complete with the rubber head cross, with brass securing bolt with nut.
