M40 German Helmet WW2 STYLE 64/57 Camouflage Complete Stamped Q64. This started as a German Manufactured post war M40/55 German manufactured helmet for the Finnish Army. It is almost identical to an early wartime Quist M40. It is a DD model with a three Color camo paint scheme. The colors are oil based enamel in Desert Tan, Olive Drab and Rust red. If you put this side by side with an Original Quist helmet you would be hard pressed to tell the difference.

The liner is an excellent replica stamped 1940 m31 style which has been aged professionally as well as the chinstrap which is stamped R Larsen Berlin 1940. The shell is recently stamped Q64 above the left ear. This is a perfect display or reenactment helmet which can be had for a fraction of the cost of an original wartime helmet.
