M42 WW2 German Helmet

For historical interest or education only. M42 Luftwaffe helmet Maker NS62 Batch D275 Single decal to left is 99% present, very good NS version Liner dated 1943 cannot make out the maker its too tight.

Authenticates with other close batches. Rivets have been overpainted orcreplaced a long time ago, left in particular is different shade. Right is better and has similar patina to helmet.

Helmet post capture has at some point had a red centre line added. Again, long removed but under close eye you can still see red flecks.
