Original German WW2 M40 model Helmet complete

Original German WW2 model M40 Helmet complete with liner, chin strap and set of three brass rivets with the washers. Outside of the helmet looks like it has the original arsenal tan or desert tan with fine pieces of sand mixed in the paint.

The paint scheme is the original color for the southern theater not sure where North Africa, Sicily or Italy. Inside has the apple green paint. The chin strap is made in 1942 see picture for the maker.

The liner has the number 57 stamped in ink for the correct size with the original liner tie piece for the center. Maker of the helmet is hard to see but is reads DN9 size is NS64.
