Original WW2 Era German JUNKERS Factory Crash Helmet, Complete and RARE Piece

An Original, Vintage, WW2 Era German JUNKERS Factory Crash Helmet, Complete and RARE Piece! The Helmet is actually quite an interesting piece, complete with its Original Liner, Chin Strap and Leather Neck Guard! Apparently, these helmets were issued to members of a team assigned to airfields to control the crash landings of the German Airplanes returning from battle!

This particular helmet is complete with its components, and was painted Red, only to have the paint stripped to reveal the Junkers emblem. The Helmet is marked 55 on the inside of the fingers of the Liner and appears to be complete with the unusual chin strap assembly. The shell was originally painted Red and was stripped to reveal the decal of the WW2 Era German JUNKERS Factory Crash Helmet!

The helmet is fitted with the vent holes similar to the Fire Helmets used by the Germans during WW2. The piece is actually in very nice condition, where someone took the time to clear the paint to reveal the Junkers factory insignia!

This is a nice and RARE piece of German Head Gear for the serious collector! There are no Offensive Symbols on this piece of Original WW2 German gear as this group was actually assisting in rescue and emergency operations! A reasonable start on a Very RARE German Helmet!
