Original WW2 German M35 M40 M42 Leather Liner Insert

Original used, WW2 German helmet leather. Will fit M35 M40 M42 German helmet liner band. Looks like it's a size 54 or 55 that would fit a size 62 helmet. One has all 8 finger tabs.

But is missing its wool felt. Other is missing all of its fingers but has the original felt still sewn to it. This may work for someone with sewing skills to swap and resew felt band into the intact leather insert. The intact leather is a little stiff in places but still appears strong enough to flex without cracking into pieces. The rear vertical would also need to be restitched. This area is stiff and might need to be softened a little before restitching. Again, doesn't appear to be so stiff that leather would crack apart when working with it. Last pic shows leather slipped into one of the size 62 helmets in collection. Looks like it might be decent fit for a 62 helmet/band.
