Original WW2 German M40 Helmet

Original shell, original liner, and original chinstrap. Appears to have been overpainted with gray brush applied paint, approximately 75% remains.

Several stray brush bristles can be seen embedded in the paint. Pigskin liner is original to the helmet, in good/worn condition, and comes complete with tie string. Chinstrap is in good condition with no cracking, but tip is missing (still functional).
