WW1 Imperial German Prussian Spiked Helmet Original Pickelhaube WW2 -NOT REPRO

This helmet is an ORIGINAL German Infantry Pickelhaube. 100+ year old helmet that has been through a World War I, so expect wear and tear, there may also be some shrinkage which occurs to leather over time. Look closely at all pics using the ZOOOOM feature.

The chin strap and both cockades are missing. The liner is present and compared to most I have seen, it is great. There are some scuffs and scrapes present on the shell.

I don't know much about this type item. There appears to be 2 horizontal holes that are being used by metal clips and leather to hold the emblem on.
