WW2 German Adolf Hitler Spoon Post Card Berghof Obersalzberg Eva Braun Helmet

Raro cucchiaio da caffè che faceva parte del servizio di Adolf Hitler. Questa posata era parte dei vari servizi da tavola che si trovavano solo nelle strutture che lui personalmente frequentava, poiché si tratta di pezzi che facevano parte appunto del cosiddetto "servizio formale". Questa tipologia di servizio era in uso presso: la Cancelleria del Reich, la Braune Haus, il Berghof, il Fuhrer Bau, la Teehaus, la Gästehaus ed ovviamente il Nido dell'Aquila. Il cucchiaino qui proposto apparteneva al servizio formale, presenta il monogramma di Adolf Hitler e la bordatura costituita da una riga che procede a segmenti perpendicolari continui, che rappresenta il fiume greco Meandro; questo era un richiamo alla cultura classica greca di cui Hitler era profondo amante. Il servizio in questione, di cui la posata fa parte, venne disegnato appositamente da Frau Professor Gerdy Troost e prodotto in esclusiva dal fabbricante Bruckmann di Heilbronn e da nessun altro.

La posata è visibile in un esemplare identico anche nel libro "liberated Adolf Hitler memorabilia". Di posate del servizio formale ne sono state prodotte circa tremila. Adolf Hitler rare original spoon demitasse formal pattern.

This small Adolf Hitler Demitasse Spoon, like all spoons of this size, was used for coffee drinks (usually in specialty cups) and for the spooning of cappuccino froth. This dainty spoon only measures 11 cm in length. As with all of the pieces in the Formal Pattern the handle is bordered in the classic Greek Key pattern and decorated with a Political eagle. This bird has half-opened wings and clutches a wreathed immobile swastika.

Hitler's initials, "A" and "H", can be seen to the left and right of the wreath, respectively. The reverse of the spoon is hallmarked with a crescent, an Imperial crown, "800", and a Prussian eagle.
