WW2 German Army Heer M42 helmet sz 66 / 59 cm original shell chicken wire WWII

Original pre-1945 WW2 German Army Heer helmet shell in size 66cm that has been refurbished by Brian Bell of Stahlhelmwerke. The shell has been textured and painted in a dark green (dunkelgrun). There are no dents, corrosion, filler or oxidation present on the helmet - it is in excellent condition. However, the shell is most definitely a size 66cm.

The reproduction liner is a size 59cm and is made from pigskin just like the originals. The reproduction high-end chinstrap is of the correct type and has been very lightly aged. The chicken wire is the correct European gauge. There are NO decals on the helmet. All in all, a fantastic ultra-authentic helmet that would be perfect for either display or for use in reenacting.
