WW2 German Army STEEL HELMET Camouflage Cover ULTRA RARE Pattern UNIQUE

German army splinter brown trial helmet cover. Made from Zeltbahn manufactured by LEG Segelmacher Berlin 1940. This camouflage is the rarest of the army patterns. Only one smock and a few Zeltbahn are known to exist. This cover is on a size 66 shell helmet and fits very well, much like a wartime-made example.

The fabric is age-stained, bleached, and torn in spots. As it is 77 years old? The fabric is weak in places, and could tear if stressed.

The inside is in army splinter and has OLD paint and rust stains. This is the only cover in this pattern made for sale. Compare to pics from book. If I do not get a fair price for this I will put it back in the collection. GUARANTEED to be manufactured from WW2 era fabric which is absolutely 100% ORIGINAL in all and every respect, albeit RECENTLY MANUFACTURED from WW2 material by a professional seamstress.

Condition is exactly as-seen in the many images I have provided. For those collectors on a budget? I can offer swatches of splinter brown for sale. These come from the inside seam of the Zeltbahn, and are as clean and bright as in 1940 when it was sewn up.
