All the rivets, liner, and chin straps are intact. The liner turns into darker brown or little black.
The liner is smaller than the shell so the size is very small, seems like 52/53. On the inside back, a number is found, which is engraved on as 1769. At the end of the chin strap, there is also a number with multiple digits but can't be read clearly. The outside paint is smooth but with 5 spots with superficial erosion and tiny spots of lost paint. Other than these, no other damages.
The helmet came in with large stock of military collections. I'm interested in Japanese items so have minor knowledge on it.
So can't guarantee for anything. Very heavy helmet weighs 3 lb.
