Ww2 German Helmet

The Helmet features mutable layers of dark Green paint which would of been applied by the German Soldier deepening on the wooded area they were operating in. The base layer looks to be smooth apple green with red, which denotes the possibility of the Helmet being an early M40 issued with double decals, (IE Tri Color Shield).

The helmet liner banded is dated 1940, Maker is SE and Size 66 (SE66 located on left side), missing the majority of the liner and chin strap. The helmet shows consistent wear of being used in combat operations for sometime and is a nice respiration of a honest Combat used Camouflaged WW2 German Helmet. Thank you for your interest!
