The interior of the helmet has a M38 borwned out leather liner, which is fully intact with a central stitched seam, twelve circular ventilation holes and black rubber padding to the helmet band and the interior crown. The liner is marked with black ink stampings but its really hard to see it. The lining also has additional black ink stamps that include the designers name and location, "Baumuster: Heisler Berlin", and the manufacturers name and location. The reverse, interior, neck apron has the serial number 473?
