WW2 GERMAN M38 PARATROOPER / Fallschirmjäger HELMET made by ckl71 bNO 4223

All four of the early, first pattern, vented, steel,ner, liner retention bolts are intact. The interior of the helmet has a M38 browned out leather liner, which is fully intact with a central stitched seam, twelve circular ventilation holes and black rubber padding to the helmet band and the interior crown. The liner is marked with black ink stampings but its really hard to get it out.

The lining also has additional black ink stamps that include the designers name and location, "Baumuster: Heisler Berlin", and the manufacturers name and location. The reverse, interior, neck apron has the serial number 4223? S code and size that appears to be, "CKL71", indicating manufacture by Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG Thale/Harz, (Iron and Foundry Works), size 71. The helmet comes complete with a grey/blue leather construction, dual "Y" pattern chin harness. The chin harness is fully intact.
