WW2 German M40 Original Helmet Relic Battle for Kurland 2WK Combat Damage

This is a German helmet relic, found in the area where the battle for Kurland took place. Kurland was a region were furious fighting took place, between the Germans and de Sovjets. According to the founder of this helmet this helmet was found in the place where the German 205th Infanterie Division fought. This Division was transferred in 1943 to Kurland/Courland en was eventually trapped in the Courland pocket (Kurland Kessel). This helmet has combat damage, and the owner of this helmet probably didn't survive the attack.

As you can see this is real history. And has to be interpreted this way. Measurements are 28,5 cm x 22,5 cm x 16 cm. If you have any questions you can always ask them.
