WW2 German M42 Heer Single Decal Helmet

German M42 single decal helmet with bullet strike. Original Pig skin liner in very good condition with Origin drawstring but no chin strap. Size 64 shell with 56 liner.

Details to rear skirt EF64 and 15196. Most of the rough paint finish remains. However small paint splash down the side which could be removed if required. Most likely happened when in storage in a shed or garage. The bullet dent is to the top front of this helmet which no doubt saved the soldiers life.

Helmet is named in pencil to inside apron " WILLIG". Helmet which clearly belonged to a combat veteran with a story to tell.
