WW2 German M42 Helmet Barnfound Holland battlefield Wehrmacht Waffen stahlhelm

For sale 1 of 2 German helmets found in the SAME BARN IN HOLLAND!! Both helmets where discovered on a hay attic on a local farm near Ravenstein in the vicinity of Nijmegen (Operation Market Garden) See other listing for helmet nr 2. This is a M42 Wehrmacht or Waffen SS helmet Helmet is completely untouched and apart from the moisture remains in the dome of the helmet, in great condition. Al tough i'm not a fan it as i would leave it in its original condition, once removed from dust, this would leave 90% of its original green. The liner is complete, but has blood remains in the dome what made the liner very brittle.

It is however of course original to the helmet and like stated before untouched. Great battle relic in a great condition! See also other listing for a very cool netted helmet from the same attic!!
