WW2 GERMAN M42 HELMET WITH ONE TONE CAMO. This helmet has been overpainted with a olive color tone outside and the rim inside, under the ring and in the dome you can see the original paint it is a ET64 batch number is hard to see due to the overpaint, the m31 liner has a singel galvanized ring, the leather is in very good condition very soft and pliable at some point it has been treated with some leather ointment so its little dark brown, it is not a Norwegian dyed liner, it has a girls name and telephone number written inside the liner and also the german soldiers name is written there but crossed over, the original drawstring is in place and the original rivets and washers that attaches the liner to the steel shell is also present, the liner has never been taken out of the helmet, the helmet also come with its original chinstrap that also is very soft and pliable full lenght 13 holes stamped with producers name and dated 1943.
