Ww2 German M42 Normandy Camo Helmet Size 68

This is a WW2 German M42 combat helmet. The size is 68 cm. Helmet is marked hkp68 with lot # 0395. Exterior of the helmet is painted field gray and over-painted tan with brown and green accents. The interior is field gray. The paint has considerable wear with numerous chips and scratches. The helmet is otherwise in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, or unwanted holes. Helmet is fitted with a pig skin liner.

There is no chinstrap and no decals. Although the shell of this helmet is an original WW2 German M42, the interior and exterior painting and aging are newly done. The liner is an expertly aged high quality reproduction.

Techniques used to paint and age this helmet make it appear absolutely dead-on real whether viewed from across the room or in your hand. To prevent dishonest resale the interior of helmet has been marked as a repaint.
