WW2 German No Decal M40 Helmet ORIGINAL

Up for sale is an original late war WW2 German model M40 No Decal helmet. It bears its original textured feldgrau (field grey) paint which has signs of honest wear. On the underside of the helmet you can see an original 8 tongue liner with the string along with an original leather chinstrap which was cut (which was common among GI's capturing helmets). Moving on to the shell, it is stamped T4062 and from my research this is indicative that it was produced by Quist in what I believe to be size 64 (most commonly issued size).

Also would like to note that all three split pins are very tight, indicating that they were most likely never removed and that the liner is original to the shell. Overall a wonderful example of a late-war produced helmet that would be a great addition to any collection! Please ask ANY and ALL questions PRIOR to purchasing, all sales final.
