Original WW2 German Tropical sun helmet. Tan 6 panel cotton cloth over a woven base pith material. Olive leather trim and chinstrap. This maker of helmet used woven material rather than cork making these helmets sturdy and able to retain their shape. Size 556 and maker marked on sweatband.
